Olympic games in China

For the First time in 2008 AC, olympic games will take place in the most populated country of the world, China.
Everybody there expect to get good weather; in international history, this nomination allows China to join (for ex.) Belgium, Netherlands, Italy or Canada in the small circle of nations allowed to organize this huge oecumenic fest.
This idea was first coming from the greeks, civilization of soldiers, who wanted to preserve by this way kind of harmony between the cities by creating an artificial war.But in fact, after a while, professionalisation came into the sport and put out all kind of the first ideas of sharing without looking for leadership.
The olympic were renewed at the end of the 19th century by a french (P. de Coubertin, 1894) who wanted to avoid wars between european countries. He totally succeed in his enterprise, saving the world from the biggest wars ever...
Anyway, now olympic games represents more than football a worldwide competition, because of all the differents sports played and although because of the presence of women.
And we can find out a lot of political schemes created by this concept ; during the cold war, embargos against 'states politics", showed us a fight between East and West, with all the doping system in the two sides...Now, the emergence of the chinese nation reflects the new balance of this beginning of millenium.Because of their woman team, China pretends to the first place , and because of the location we can imagine something like berlin 36, or los angeles 84.
In the world history, it's the real first time that such a wedding between greek (modern Egyptian) crazy ideas and chinese organisation takes place.
But infact, it would be time too to speak about human rights, not respected in China, especially about internet privacy, to which we are strongly attached in democratic societies.Of course the economic devlopment of china will lead to a social education and a change in chinese societies as it happened last century in Europe, but nobody can guess how it will come!
Another thing could be to talk about the situation in Macao, Hongkong or Taiwan!and a small word for the tibet and all the religious communauties persecuted there.
Anyway, as we can guess, the world is not perfect yet, and maybe will never be...Perfection may just be a limit that we can approach with luck and will, and although discipline...But speak about the troubles of the others can help people to take conscience about the difficulty to live in the same world; that's why we should never stop the freedom of expression and the ability of answering, too!
